7 Essential Simple Tricks to Mix Color

…is the first unit in the Color Foundations Course.  It  provides the essential understanding of Color theory and as such is the basic unit in the full Color Foundations course.This brief basic color course offers essential simple principles (tricks) that guide color selection in nearly every color mixing situation, providing the foundation for mixing colors.

As UNIT 1 this course introduces the first three lessons in the Color Foundation 1/4 Course:

• Les 1- Materials
• Les 2 -Color Wheel Hues, Temperature and
• Les 3- Saturation,  Luminosity and Intensity.

This color Theory Unit from the Color Foundations course is the essential beginning for color work.  Color Foundations includes two more UNITS, 2 & 3, that provides strategies, pitfalls and key questions to ask to not only help practice mixing a color but to more precisely match a color and  even match a value when you change the hue. In the final unit we mix beautiful flowers.
